Workshops: Seit 1999 werden in Dresden Interdisziplinäre Workshops und Kurse für Kunst und Medientechnologie mit Schwerpunkt interaktive Environments durchgeführt. Die Trans-Media-Akademie veranstaltet diese seit 2002 unter Anderem im Festspielhaus Hellerau sowie im Trans-Media-Labor im historischen Gebäudeensembles Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau. 2007 bis 2008 wurden im Rahmen des Netzwerkes Dresdner Innovationsfonds für Kunst und Medientechnologie (DIF) ca. 80 Mitarbeiter von Unternehmen sowie Künstler aus unterschiedlichen Genres, Ingenieure und Lehrer qualifiziert.
