Arion Stereo Chorus (Landau Mod)
What a fat chorus that is. Especially for synths. It just needed some little tweaks to shine in the modulation section which was a little too fast and to weak for my taste.
-LFO speed mod (1mikro Farad switchable in parallel to C32)
-higher vibrato depth (remove R41 and replace with 470k)
-chorus / vibrato mod (lift R28 and R34 where they meet. Tie them together and put it to the switches outer isolated lug. This removes the wet signal)
-get two of those for real stereo chorus (the second output is just inverted). putting one chorus in the other gave me results similar to the famous juno 6 chorus.

Hey – I found this site searching for the Landau Mods to the Arion SCH-Z. Thanks a lot… Eventually, I changed some other things and used some other values, which I documented here: https://infotomb.com/u0idr.pdf
It would be great if you could publish this comment to help others built one of the greatest (and underrated) chorus pedals the world has seen.
Great Matthias. Thank You. Gonna check it out. Modded a CE-1 today. More Soon.
Hi Jacob – very interested in hearing what your modifications sound like – Im a guitarist with an unmodded SCH-1
Best regards
Phil
